The most common legal form for setting up a company in Bulgaria is Limited Liability Company (Ltd. or OOD in Bulgarian). There are two forms of Ltd.;

• Single owned Ltd. (EOOD)
• More than one owner Ltd. (OOD)

Who can be an Owner? – Individuals or legal entities (companies).
What is the minimum Capital required? - the minimum share capital to be deposited is currently BGN 2 (approx. EUR 1).
How much time does it take? – the procedure takes currently about up to 5 days if documents are filed via Internet at the Trade Register
How much does it cost? – registration fees (incl. notary and bank fees) are about 224 BGN.
The new company owners have to present when they open a bank account and deposit the capital. They will have to sign the incorporation documents and a power of attorney in front of a public notary. This will take no more than 3 hours.
